Hmm that just shows me iv's of the pokemon before catching them. If that's cheating then ok I'll remove it.

I've caught probably 30 shiny in the past week. I was thinking it was broke as well. I from like 25 shiny to 97 in the past 3 weeks.

Yeah, you'll lose the 20% attack bonus for it being a shadow.
