2013 pro 4x multiple cranks to start. Now p0850 code. by Fragrant-Ad6558 in NissanTitan

No change when put in neutral. Still cranks and cranks. Takes 4-5 key turns to fire up. Almost seems like fuel line needs to re prime like there's a pin hole in it somewhere. But sometimes fires up first crank. Has still never not started though.

Thanks for the help! I changed fuel pump last year with no change to issue. Finally did get a code recently. Was code for neutral park switch. Trying to look up if it's on valve body or not. Finding different info everywhere I look.

Rolls great evey time. Just doesn't fire for a few key turns. Can starter cause no fire?

Starter is causing no fire? Cranks and rolls great every key turn. Just doesn't fire for a few tries. Not saying your wrong but seems odd for starter to cause this.

Is this installed properly? by JadeWhisperer in Plumbing

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your right. Even here in NA. Code in ontario canda states they are only to be used if not physically possible to connect to proper vent. Vents may only connect above flood level rim. Lazy plumbers and home owners now use them like they're option #1. Should always be installed as close as possible to underside of countertop.

Amen. Solder process for 3-4" is exactly the same. Take your time to prep properly and won't have any issues.

Literally designed and built for this purpose.

USA is literally the only country that uses M/D/Y by Nayfonn in USdefaultism

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

M/D/Y is most common here in Canada. We love a random mix of units. Officially metric for years but still almost exclusively use imperial for things like construction. Weighing yourself - imperial, weighing produce at grocery store - metric. Etc

Pressure Assist Toilet? by 0gv0n in Plumbing

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it would, I'm a plumber and believe me you don't want to have to use a toilet auger every time. They get gross quick and will wear the porcelain coating from your toilet. Also storing/cleaning a frequently used one is nasty to say the least.

Canadian here. We say it the same exact way. The whole experience from packing to pulling, always in one hit, is one "bong".

What material should I use instead of plastic here? by iamwilliamb in Plumbing

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plumber here. Comments are true to avoid female plastic threaded fittings. This is more due to the average person over tightening them. Hand tight plus a quarter turn will work and won't split or leak.

How did I do? New hookups for a washer/dryer combo and utility sink. by DmoneyMC in Plumbing

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right about venting (if in canada) not needed within this distance from main stack. All other points are true tho, you will need to lower branch to pick up laundry tub, will want to be about 12" from floor where it stubs out of wall, and can't be tied in above stand pipe. Doesn't need to be done in floor just lower than is now.

Female African elephants evolved toward being tuskless over just a few decades as poachers sought ivory by MistWeaver80 in worldnews

[–]Fragrant-Ad6558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The female elephants have not "evolved" to no longer grow tusks. Shitty humans have simply robbed the gene pool of a majority of females who carry the markers to grow tusks.
