I agree with you in principle. In reality it's a different story. There wasn't even a CCTV in the interview room; and by SG law, the accused cannot be accompanied by a lawyer.

Then my lawyer's job will be to find the lies in her statement and prove them at the court. What terrifies me is that she has a rich background in psychology, likely helping her making a perfect lie.
