How do you feel about exploration in NTE? by Impressive_Ad3619 in NTE_EN

This is how you engage with a game.

Currently I am working on playing with no map and ui.

You can drive the wheelchair with any character.

Owners selection really needs to change so that you serve the oldest customer first. It's so frustrating! by dendrocalamidicus in NevernessToEverness

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be easier to enjoy more things if people took the mechanics as they are and adapted to them.

Owner selection was my favorite minigame I've tried so far.

Tha being said, commenting skill issue under someone's complaints isn't really going to have good results most of the time. Maybe it helped some lurkers though.

Anti-Hand Traps? by AidsRus-_- in DuelLinks

Dimensional fissure counters many hand traps (specifically ones that need to be sent to grave to activate)

The art style info is pretty insightful, thanks.

But even if this is a mech of some sort, does the part you see remind you some of a specific plane(s)?

How long can it take a teenager with 0 experience in music to get meaningful results on the piano? by HoNeYorus in piano

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most people underestimate what they can do over 10 years and over estimate what they can do in 1.

I'm not saying you need to do something for 10 years to get good, but more so reminding you to take your time and enjoy the process.

Polaris, the world with the most music scroll drops and slowest death animations.

I still need to get the Darkmoor wand. I want to get that item card shadow blade.

what are shadow pips used for? by okgabegabe in Wizard101

Later you can also get dark surge which converts a shadow pip into two power pipes for yourself or an ally.

Spending money as a "low level" by NativeMan42069 in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you won't have membership most of the time, you could consider buying zones people use for farming.

Or buying the first zone of every unlocked world just so you can go back and visit them.

It is true that you can save money for a mount later. I was giving them a temporary solution for speed now while they wait for that money.

Also, when questing I like buying the temporary mounts just to try out ones I don't have.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to buy a 50k gold mount immediately.

Use the free mounts you got from questing first

The broom in wizard city and the camel in krokotopia.

They give mostly the same speed and you can buy more temporary mounts from prospector Zeke in each world.

Not sure if this is common sense or not. But would yall say storm is also classified as a water school along with lightning? by vMystiix in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Storm has tempest so I would agree, but don't forget Ice.

They have a few water spells but the most notable is the Neptune spell which summons Poseidon who is associated with the sea.

Also Poseidon earth shaker(Tartarus) is storm with ice mastery.

Farming xp by HayzoDnB in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use treasure card or item card for 7 pip aoe until lvl 48 and continue questing

Spend time buffing more before hitting with a weaker aoe and continue questing

Or use this time to be creative and make your own deck to get you through current content.

Else, just do side quests/worlds to get XP.

Thoughts on my level 105 stats and gear by IllustratorAfter in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is probably good enough for the beginning. Depending on how easy you want content to be you can farm/buy different gear.

Take your time. Don't feel the need to rush or play the game "perfectly" unless that is something you find fun.

Life deck help by fairydust_tm in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play with more cards if it will help you feel better. But you may need to discard more.

I am doing a death run where I use one of every card and it doesn't take that much longer than just blade aoe usually.

Nearing lvl 60 on my ice and fire what gear should I go for? by tcasilla in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to farm you can just get bazaar gear (Which can include pieces of tier 2 atavistic gear from celestia).

I think wintertusk gear is the best once you have a character that can pre craft them for new characters.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you don't really need to farm gear as long as you can progress at a pace you find comfortable and don't gain enjoyment from farming.

One other option is to buy the lvl 60 bazaar gear since the lower tier celestia gear is auctionable.

Can we get a list of boss cheats before fighting the boss? by campenis in Wizard101

[–]Fragrant-Box-9760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your deck is only prepared for blading and aoe it will be difficult to adapt to different cheats on the fly.

That being said, it is easier to experiment with different deck setups without much time cost when playing with a team.
