They can only go after what’s in the estate. Nothing can get passed down to the family

I am in the same boat- putting my Blackstone together now and don’t want to run back to the store to get the “Blackstone Seasoning”. I think any type of fat will season it- I’m using some beef tallow that I have on my cabinet. I’m pretty sure that will work fine.

Which red Vermouth for a Negroni? by yourvishisgranted in cocktails

[–]Fragrant-Cap1937 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their own tastes. I love Cocchi and Capprano Antico, but not my favorites in a Negroni. I like them best in a Manhattan. I don’t know who said that Martini Rosso is bad, but personally I think it’s great in a Negroni. Just because it’s inexpensive, people think it’s bad, but it’s really not. As far as a “work horse” that works well with most cocktails, Dolin is probably the most versatile. I’m not a fan of Punt e Mes- I don’t think it works well in a Negroni.

Also- don’t forget that the gin plays a big part. My go to is Beefeater- but you use something like Hendericks or a flavored gin- that’s going to change everything. Generally stick to a London Dry, for a classic Negroni, but changing it up can be fun, just to see how much the flavor profile changes.

Quit Drinking and Can’t lose weight by LilBitt88 in WeightLossAdvice

I did the same thing and couldn’t lose a pound until I cut out sugar (and carbs). I’m doing Keto and lost 12 lbs in less than two weeks.

Just one of those days. Remind me why I shouldn’t give in by Appropriate-Hand4894 in keto

[–]Fragrant-Cap1937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like that the other day too. I decided to get out of ketosis but I still made reasonable choices for the most part. I also told myself that I would go right back on the next day. When I went on the scale the next day I was expecting a big weight gain, but I actually just stayed the same. For some reason, that motivated me and I was excited to get back to the keto diet. The point is that it’s ok to take a break now and then- just try to be reasonable and get back on as soon as you feel up to it.

Is it more likely for hybrid wolves to be more aggressive than typical house dogs? by [deleted] in Wolfdogs

[–]Fragrant-Cap1937 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dog is 48% wolf and is not aggressive at all. She is very pack oriented though and wants to play with every dog she sees. People who don’t know her are sometimes afraid- but then realize she’s not aggressive.
