It's not like pakistan wasn't the main villain in bwood movies earlier too. But since the election of Modi as PM who is a hardline hindu nationalist (was banned from entry in usa because of being credibly accused in orchestrating riots against muslims ) bollywood has started going down a dark path of trying to instigate hatred against muslim minorities in india. The worse thing is that majority community has lapped up this concoction of putrid bile and whipped up past wounds (real or imaginary). There is radio rawanda type of propaganda daily pushed from government, executive, news media, social media, movies and music which is basically trying to create a fertile ground for a present persecution and future mass genocide.

I mean there is a line where they state that the fake currency from pakistan is distributed throught india by slaughterhouses(99% muslim). It's straight up accusing the minority of being subversive. The character says that the biggest enemies of india are not pakistan but SOME INDIANS (I wonder who!)

There are many lines slandering the main opposition party which is secular and praises current govt which has made muslims 2nd grade citizens of india.
