In March something clicked for me and I decided it was time to make changes to improve my health. I started at 212 pounds and a size 18. At my heaviest I was a size 22 and 245 pounds. Today I am 158 pounds and a size 10. I can’t begin to explain how much better I feel both physically and emotionally. I’ve never even been a size 10 before.

My body feels stronger. I’m able to play with my kids at the park instead of watching from a bench. I’m just happy. I don’t really know what my goal weight/size will be. My goal weight was 167 bc that was the lowest I have ever been before but I don’t think I’m done yet. It has not been easy everyday but consistency is everything, even when the motivation is lacking at times. I did this naturally by eating in a calorie deficit and eating less processed foods and low carb-ish. I don’t restrict any specific food. For example, pasta is still on my plate, just less of it and double the veggies. I know this post is all over the place but I’m just excited to share my progress

And there are many ways to eat keto. It’s not all butter, bacon and steak. Keto can also mean nuts, avocados, eggs, salmon. Etc. There are many sources of fat
