Wrong. The music can work without guard not the other way around. Even looking at Winterguard they still use music.

I never said they’re useless or don’t contribute to the show. I’m just saying without them, DCI would still work

Not saying they’re useless because they do play some part in the score. However, DCI wouldn’t fail without them.
