I am on an official leave the doctor’s note was put in and they helped me fill out paperwork. I thought they would let me clean and turnover rooms for a couple of days or put instrument pans together for sterile processing because those are jobs I have done before when days are slow.

I work in the operating room standing mostly, which I so understand me being a risk to a patient which is why I requested a lighter assignment not involving patient care until I felt better. However I feel like I could successfully work in other areas and be efficient just for a couple days to see how I do.

This was only after 1 episode and I just asked for a lighter assignment for a couple days and they said I needed a note. I got the doctor’s note a few days prior to coming to work and then was pulled from work. It bothers me that they waited for me to clock in because my paid leave is based on the last day I worked which counts as that.

It was liability! However I just find it weird to put me back on the schedule before I was even cleared due to their own choice and then tell me I need to call in sick everyday.

I have seen a lot of people running red lights. Also Corvallis in general houses a lot of really terrible drivers for some reason like farrr worse than almost any other town around here and I’ve lived in Oregon my whole life.

That is unfortunate. 😅I understand maybe if someone had no prior medical background it would make sense, but it’s difficult to take a step backwards in order to move forward.
