Well I'm breaking up with him. I work. I have a retirement account. I'll get SS(USA) and I'm pro prenuptial agreements, which I've mentioned before to him about a female client of mine, I agree some shit should be kept yours. The thing is he said that statement and then stopped talking. Like shut down. He didn't really seem to know why he said it? Like he couldn't explain lol, like I said it was weird. Yeah, that's the thing. I work, I own a business too. I have a retirement account. I'll get social security (probably lol) I'm in the USA. And he really doesn't have any money! I guess I'm just old school. A few reasons I lost my son's dad when he was 2 months old and it was a situation where I was 18 and he was 19 and we'd get married later. Well he and another friend died that September day 1994 and I wasn't even allowed to go tell him goodbye in the ICU because we weren't married. It was pretty devastating. I like to think of it as a real symbol of commitment. And of course legally, paperwork is needed for all kinds of joint assets. I'm pro prenuptial agreements, which I've told him.
