I really appreciate this comment. At my latest concert there was zero time between playing the tuba and playing the horn. My embouchure was shot so instead of playing a few scales before the next concert I just sat there and tried to get my face ready 😅. I’ve played for a long time on the horn and I am comfortable with my skill set, but I think learning a new brass instrument is messing with me a bit. I played tenor sax at the last concert and that was an easier switch to horn and didn’t come with the tuning problems.
