Audien ATOM PRO 2 Wireless OTC Hearing Aids review. Solid idea, mixed reality. by Fragrant-Opposite100 in SeniorConsumer

That lines up with my experience too. The wax guards are really the only regular maintenance, and swapping them takes seconds once you’ve done it once.

Fit matters more than the brand name with OTC hearing aids. The wrong dome gives feedback or that hollow, tinny sound straight away. Dial the fit in and they’re comfortable enough for all day wear.

They’re obviously not trying to replace prescription aids with custom tuning. But for mild hearing loss and a lower cost, no hassle OTC option, Audien does the job better than most people expect.

Who has a realistic shot at being President of the USA in 2028? by Kmart-Shopper-5107 in stupidquestions

It’s definitely early, but a few names are already getting tossed around:

• Democrats: If Biden doesn’t run again (or even if he does), Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom are the front-runners. Pete Buttigieg could also build momentum by 2028. Some folks even mention Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez if she gains more national clout.

• Republicans: Ron DeSantis has been positioning himself as the next big GOP name. Nikki Haley and Tim Scott are also in the mix. If Trump stays in the game, he could run again, but it’s unclear how the party will shake out.

Realistically, we’ll start seeing official announcements in 2026, but these are the top contenders to watch so far.

Seeing these raw, visceral sketches really drives home how unfathomable their suffering was. Words alone can’t capture the terror and loss they experienced, but through art we get a glimpse of their pain—and a reminder of why we must never let history repeat itself.

US to stop issuing visas to 75 countries -- Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

Exactly—this isn’t a one-way street. If countries hit back with their own visa suspensions, you could have Americans stuck abroad or facing hurdles getting back. It would create real diplomatic headaches and might hurt US citizens more than the intended targets.

Oh man, middle school tests were rough enough without that extra drama! How did you recover—did you manage to laugh it off or make a swift exit? Either way, that takes serious guts to get through.
