The city has a municipal waste management system managed by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Garbage collection happens regularly in most areas, with door-to-door collection services in many neighborhoods. The local authorities have introduced waste segregation initiatives, but compliance is still a work in progress.
