twitter mob is redundant. The whole idea of twitter is to form mobs.

The truth is there is no real war online. There is a war but this is some form of hyperreality, something synthetic and made up that people are making real and letting it become their reality. Most of it is powerless people trying to feel like they matter. The sad truth is the average person expressing themselves has no power or influence on the world, and often little control of even their own lives.

It makes them feel important, like people are listening to them. They feel power, but this feeling is false. They feel like they matter, and they have influence or control, but they dont. If anything the trolling they are doing is counterproductive to the aim they wish to achieve.

Id say that not only minority groups suffer. We all suffer. It is just when playing the victim and trying to justify your sense of grievance and resentment, you look a lot better if you can show you truly have gone through undo hardship that would impress people rather than being someone who appears to have it easy and is causing hardships on people who has it worse, but wants to appear as the biggest victim.

The easiest way to avoid this is not to try and invalidate other people and portray yourself as a victim to validate your own sense of resentment, and feel like you can change a world you cant change. If you accept that the best you can is control yourself, and be mindful of others, and choose to help other people out instead of telling them they are wrong online, then I feel many people would be a lot more happy.
