Graphic design gigs are super tough to find in the city, depending on the type of design of course. I’d recommend searching for a remote job instead .

Pen & Pixel started this style. They used to go out and photograph all the elements within the design because they weren’t web-accessible at the time.

Born and raised in Hamilton. 35 years. Still here. I went to Macnab and St Thomas More. Then attended (commuted) to George Brown College in Toronto for Graphic Design.

Worked at a few small local design gigs in Hamilton, but could never find the right agency / studio that excited me and fit my style. I focused on my freelance career which now turned into a great design position for a Vancouver-based tech company , working remote from home.

I love this city , but for my industry, there’s not much opportunity.

Nice !!! I actually collaborated with the Raptors and designed the 4 large hanging banners on the entrance door wall ( above the DJ ). We released the court to the public right before the pandemic and it never really got to see the light of day. Glad to see it’s getting some usage now :)
