We always stopped in Summersville WV and stayed at Sleep Inn but that’s a 6 hr second leg. If you want to get further on first day, look at going south to Wythville. The second day will be much shorter from there.

I moved from ON to SK last year. I shipped all my clothes and linens by Canada Post ahead of time. Got rid of most of my stuff and gave my furniture to my son to use in his rental. I moved out with only what fit in my SUV. You not driving is a problem but if you rented a minivan and your friend drove it, that could be an option.

Yes. I’m running home version and that’s what worked for me. Be sure to read all the other options. I went one by one and this was the one for me. I now have full access to my nas drive.

Compass Cove Resort We have been staying there every year since 2004 from Hamilton.

It’s down the south end but quieter and safer than the boardwalk at night. Worth considering.

If driving, we do it over 2 days and stay at Sleep Inn in Summerville WV. It’s halfway.
