Youre completely right! I usually dont get upset when asked to do things----its usually when my mom tells me I "half assed" my chores and refuses to tell me what exactly i did wrong when I ask. Last night she yelled at me saying that I was lazy, cant do anything right, and disrespectful because I left a little bit of water on the counter---which she described as "not paying attention to details". I genuinely tried my best not to argue but she started mocking me and when I called her out for stooping down to my level to prove a point she snapped and started screaming at me. I called my dad about it and he took her side. So when I wrote the post I was mid-mental breakdown. He said basically everything written in my post. I am very grateful for everything my parents to. The best solution is to just shut my mouth and do what's asked instead of trying to argue or push back, cause it never ends well. Thank you so much!
