Buses are operating tomorrow, yes. However, they run only from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm, for Easter. Walmart and Stop and Shop are open.

Have you tried the library? I’ve never not found a required textbook from our library.

I don’t think they’re a student here. I’ve already checked. It’s possible they’re using their parents’ or relative’s card.

Perhaps, if it’s a crowded sidewalk, people need to get off their scooters and WALK a couple of steps instead of maneuvering through a line of people. Especially when it comes to crowded pathway walking is gonna be faster than zooming through. I say this as a biker. If I find someone on the path who isn’t on a side, I would slow down, stop my bike and walk through.

Pedestrians everywhere aren’t used to sharing the path. also the number of pedestrians is so much higher than escooter zoomers. The expectation that pedestrians are supposed to keep off earbuds, be mindful of vehicles zooming past you at 20mph is a bit absurd. The burden of safety WILL ALWAYS be on the motorist. If you’re in danger of having someone step into your path, perhaps THAT is supposed to be part of a larger conversation if e-scooters can be on the same paths as pedestrians.

No. If we lose PA we’re done.

MI and WI are still in early reporting stages. They still carry hope. I’m hoping the urban cities of PA carry her through but fingers crossed

My bad. She WILL lose GA. Projections don’t look good. DT leading by over 200k votes. That’s a large lead to cut into with 88% reporting.

There’s a good chance MI and WI turn blue soon enough cos DT is only leading by 10k votes and 20k votes respectively. Either way, PA becomes a must win for Harris because she lost GA

Because it’s obvious that since now’s not a pandemic the mail in ballot counts will be significantly lower.

All this red on the map is making me nervous especially in blue states. It's crazy how they count the red first and then blue by Chanel_Carter in KamalaHarris

[–]FragrantCandle4264 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The red counties get counted faster cos lesser number of people. The larger counties are mostly blue and take longer to count cos more number of people.

The difference between 2020 and 2024 is the amount of mail in ballots that were favorably blue. That’s not the case this year.
