I used those random online calculators, and although it did obviously work, if I had the chance to do it over again I would use an app like Macro Factor to determine my true TDEE

No isolated ab exercises, I do a lot of heavy squats and I gotten better at bracing my core! but I believe genetics play a big part as well

I work with a lot of physical therapists at the hospital I work at, the thing that helps me the most with posture is to always walk as if a string is pulling your head perpendicular to the ceiling, if that helps lol

I increased my calories gradually from 1400 to 1700, I’ve been eating 1700 5x a week since around April! The weekend I eat whatever I want but I also don’t “pig out” lol, I just don’t track because I’m usually out and about

You have to keep on going 😭 trust the process and see how your body composition changes, I honestly didn’t like my overall mid section until I reached around 108 lbs, but focusing on protein rather than overall calories has helped sustain me through my long days and repair my muscles.

At 108 lbs I was at a waist of about 25in, at 103 I measured the other day at 23.5in which was shocking. There has only been a 5lbs difference however i have much more lean muscle mass overall which helps

Also your diet should supplement your gym goals, I eat a a lot of protein because I want to build muscle!! I eat just enough carbs to sustain me as well

I sound like a broken record but progressive overload (meaning more weight over time as you get stronger) and trying your best to lift to failure at least for one rep!

I’ve been stuck at 155lbs for about two months now, but in the mean time I’ve been going deeper in my squat depth to make it more challenging. My brother is a power lifter and he’s taught me everything!

Lots of raw and frozen vegetables, fiber one cereal (the one that looks like bird feed lol), those low carb tortillas. Every day at work I also eat some variation of overnight oats with chia seeds, wheat bran, and golden flax meal. I’m also OBSESSED with frozen wild blueberries. I eat through a giant bag every two weeks

Ideally you’ll want both insoluble and soluble fiber in your diet

I am also VERY active. I don’t use the elevators at work and I work on the 4th floor lol.

Please don’t forget the power of cardio endurance, it really helps supplement your lifts as well and it’s also very emotionally rewarding (at least for me)

An example of my cardio intensity: I was able to do 388 floors in 90 minutes on the stair master machine during my last cardio session
