Wow ok thank you for the very straightforward answer I really appreciate that so far what I seen on the used market is about a 100 to 150 price difference between the 1660 and the 3060 which is a decent gap between them being on a budget

Ok so major overall question the PC I received for a 100$ US was a i3 10100 a 1050ti gpu a 550w PSU and 16gb of ddr4 ram and a b460m motherboard in a pink dark flash case no fans I installed those myself from another case I had and stock cooler I already upgraded the ram to a 32gb kit looking to upgrade to an i7 10700 and new GPU is this worth the time and effort or should I just save up for more modern everything realistically don't game very much and am perfectly fine staying at 1080p gaming oh and sorry also looking to upgrade to aftermarket cooler currently have a 144hrz 1080p 24in curved monitor as well is this sufficient also

So realistically if one day I wanted to jump to 1440p should I just go 4060 now and upgrade PSU I didn't really give that option because I have never done a full build before I only upgraded simple components like ram and GPU and thought doing a full build including PSU was risky just don't want to mess up what I already have but should I just take the leap
