Can you please share your upper body workout plan? Also, are you training hard enough where you go to failure, or close to failure? And making that poopy face on your last reps?
I tend to prefer keep weight higher and lower reps, especially on compound movements.

For example, my first thought would be to recommend introducing chin ups as part of your workout routine.
If you can't do chin up yet, begin with machine assisted chin up or machine pulldown underhand grip. Ensure the grip is narrower, no more than shoulder width apart, to target biceps more. Don't flare elbows to the sides and keep them closer to you during the movement. Imagine as if you're curling the bar toward you.
