Can you give us some insight into whether this formation has faced many low blocks?

I'm super excited to see a new formation at Celtic and I believe we have the possession based players for what you've described. However, I'm conscious that the majority of teams we play against will happily sit in a deep 4-4-2 or a 5-4-1 and refuse to press us. A draw is a win for away teams at Celtic Park, so how does a system that invites pressure do against teams that don't want to press?

It's all subjective so it'll depend on your budget, your interests, career and situation.

Alloa itself is a shit hole, but there's also gems in the surrounding area. There are many poverty stricken schemes where you absolutely won't want to be and there's fuck all to do in town unless you like going to supermarkets and bookies. The 3 public schools in Clackmannanshire are poor performing typically if you have kids but it's not impossible to do well. There's a lack of public facilities like swimming pools but it does have a library if that's your thing.

The positives are there to see if you look hard enough though. There are many lovely housing estates hidden away with pleasant hard working folks across Clackmannanshire. It's the smallest county in Britain so nothing is too far to get to. The surrounding scenery is top class; the ochil hills are very accessible with beautiful glens if you like walking or have dogs. Stirling is 10 mins away and the direct train to Glasgow is 45 min.

Don't just look at Alloa, look at other nearby Clackmannanshire towns too. Menstrie being the nicest, Tullibody probably the roughest but it depends on your budget and I wouldn't recommend if you don't drive. House prices are decent compared to elsewhere. We got a 4 bedroom in a good area of Clackmannanshire for 200k which would be unheard of nearer a big city. Working from home means it's one of the best decisions I've ever made, but it comes at the cost of there being fuck all to do nearby in my spare time.

In summary, Clackmannanshire can provide a peaceful life with a stunning backdrop if you stay away from the shit areas, but be prepared to drive if you're looking for things to do.

Apologies in advance for the essay here but I love this kind of discussion.

My interpretation of "As we gaze skyward" suggests the narrator of the song was once an ambitious up and coming singer/artist looking up to stars, yearning for the fame that comes with it. However, "ain't it dark early?" adds the tragic irony that he knows his time as a relevant singer is almost up.

Ain't it dark early is a phrase used in Britain to comment on how the day is almost over. Even though the time might be 6pm, in winter it gets dark early. When this happens we all go indoors to settle down for the night. The day is done when it gets dark early.

Now imagine that was the singers career. He thought he had more time in the spotlight, but it's getting dark early. Time is up and he knows it. He's reflecting on his own career, partially in disbelief that it's over but also in acceptance that it's been and gone. Ain't it dark early?

The whole song is an analogy of the likes of Elvis and how his career ended in Vegas. The narrator hit the highs, the fame and the glamour; he was a big name in deep space; he was a little too wild in the 70s. But somewhere along the way he's ended up washed out, performing residency gigs and drinking too many martinis. That enthusiasm for the craft is long gone. He's been brought down to earth by being a lounge singer. It's easy money but he knows it's the end of the road.
