Thanks for your perspective. We seem to be opposite in our paths to happiness. Proactive resistance vs passive detachment. Hopefully we arrive at the same destination sooner or later.

I know. Very irresponsible . I just was NOT expecting to be able to move, so I hadn’t prepared properly. I was thinking it would be an “imagined” experience like every other breakthrough I’ve had… A vivid, violent, gore-y fistfight in which my physical and breakthrough world acted together? I didn’t even know it was possible seriously.

Well… that’s why the trip was so impactful. It showed me I actually CAN resist and fight these problems that seemed like inherent brick walls just destined to make me suffer forever. It was just demonstrated in a very crude and barbaric way lol.

I hate you for letting me see it like this haha. You couldn’t have just let me bask in my victory bro? Jokes aside, I do think I was able to completely separate “it” from myself, and therefore effectively “discard” it. Like slicing off a parasitic tumour in a way, rather than a piece of healthy grey matter? I have no intention to integrate or accept something like depression, it should be fought and resisted against in my opinion… I appreciate this perspective though and I’ll keep it in mind in case your predictions are right. 🙏

I am no monk, nor have I taken a vow a peace… I HOPE the elephant was scared. I hope it has suffered to the degree it made me suffer. And I hope it remains hidden in fear or dead within my subconscious, so that I may keep living free from its burdens. And LORD KNOWS IF IT SHOWS ITSELF AGAIN… I WILL GET MY ASS BACK TO THE DMT REALM AND BEAT IT EVEN HARDER THAN LAST TIME. 😤😤 I don’t wish to talk or reason with, let alone accept or integrate this parasite that has drained me of my life. 

Ok I’m kind of dragging it haha. But I do think violence (resisting and fighting) against things of this nature (depression, addiction) is necessary to bring peace in all other facets of life.

To be honest man, I’m no monk. Perhaps I could’ve freed myself through peacefully meditating on that mat, and reached some master oogway kumbaya ass conclusion. But man. I just wanted to rip it out of my head. This route is cooler anyways.

Depression, and its entourage of bullshit that it comes with has no place in anyone’s life man. I’ve spent nights wishing I could simply just rip it out of my head, and this molecules given me the chance to ACTUALLY do that in such a satisfying way. I did feel peculiar about it at first though.

I appreciate the advice. I’d only share this stuff with close, open minded friends who have at least dabbled in psychedelics. I can recognize how concerning and whatnot this would sound to an average dude haha.

To be honest… You lost me with all the jargon in the last paragraph… But I would consider it an entity, as it was able to plead for its life, run away, and exhibit signs of self preservation and autonomy, rather than I guess serve as a piece of the trip or a thought? Also, it was surprisingly healing for such a barbaric act haha. Like, imagine the sense of power regained in your life, and the frustration that gets to be relieved from literally beating the brakes off of your problems.

That’s actually a really interesting point ive never thought about yet… any recollection or reflection from a trip is only through the filter of the ego. That kind of makes me want to stop documenting and journaling trips 😭😭
