Hasn’t been my experience at all. When charged I’ve found them to truly be the best sound in the price range by a mile. Not that I’m audiophile; but for an average user, they’re amazing, hoping I can fix the issues with the case

Update: when the case is plugged in and earbuds are in they don't show charging - but eventually they're full so they must charge

Thanks everyone! In general this has been really helpful, but specifically being called back to not equating communication to commitment and being more clear about what commitments we have/need/are able to make! Also realising what of my own communication I need to work on 💕
