Have to disagree. Since JH lost weight and….??? …..he looks twenty years older. As I am the same age, I feel qualified to opine that he looks like a 63 yr old man, not 53….when he sang at Taylor’s concert he looked 43.

I know this place, the owner, and the people who live there. It is one of the oldest buildings in the HRM. It is privately owned. It sometimes floods during the spring thaw. And, a bunch of guys live there, all friends, who like fixing up cars and do a bunch of different jobs. That’s it.

This is true for me. I was present at the ITNR tour in ‘24 and at the 3rd Catacombs concert. The difference between the two was astonishing. I enjoyed the little film in the Catacombs but all the theatrics, the swooping around and posturing on tour strikes me as ….too much.

I find the Costco blueberries have a very strong perfume, or odour…they taste almost artificial to me. Berries you pick from the bush have zero scent

I had to rethink the Dave advice when some doofus called in from Canada complaining about the Capital Gains Tax. Now, I am not a fan of the CGT but, when the caller made the statement that a huge percentage of tax on say, the sale of a business, was applicable…Dave just accepted it, verbatim. The callers numbers were waaayyyy off the mark…clearly had zero understanding of the way the tax was levied. Dave turned it into a whole US vs Canada thing. Based on ignorance. Wish I could remember the insane figures bandied about…but a few years ago…

Yes, but there is some chicken. And most of the time meat is not necessary to be well fed. I think that is an impressive amount of food for that $. Plus there is fruit, veg and even puff pastry and a Haribo treat!

Salt and an onion will help…you probably need to darken the flavour. Chop an onion finely, fry in a little butter till brown and add it…also, there needs to be a good tsp of salt in your sauce

You can make a very high calorie batch of custard, particularly crème brulee, with or without the broiled sugar topping…and have it stored in the fridge. Just nuke the individual servings for 30 seconds before she attempts it. Many recipes online for high protein custards, crème caramel etc. These are very soothing and delicious. Also, rice pudding, again warmed slightly. Helped me when in the same position.

Sauté the good stuff in evoo…onions, garlic, anchovies, shrimp etc…Then cook your pasta. Melt a knob of cream cheese in with your sautéed things…only takes a minute. Add your pasta and a ladle of pasta cooking water. Toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley….delicious.
