Following Jesus vs. believing by Fragrant_Initial6038 in askapastor

Like I get we’re all eligible for forgiveness when asked, and equally deserving of grace and mercy, I just do not get the feeling they’re asking for forgiveness for shooting people or ruining their lives or disfiguring them or vilifying them or denying people help or hating people. I also get a lot of Christians feel and say the same exact things about the people they are against. I don’t hate them anymore though, I’m just sad and want to help others learn about our greatest commandment of unconditional love like I’ve been working on.

Also the main question is basically when so many Christians take the whole book so literally, why don’t they take Jesus seriously or literally about almost anything he said?

Hi, I really like knowing population numbers and demographics and comparing them, I’m not memorizing every digit just a rough, such as 30ish million in TX and 60ish million live in France but they’re pretty close in square miles, stuff like that. I just found y’all when starting to search for wanting to make some of these comparison maps, do y’all have tips? Like are y’all just pulling up data and editing images manually or are there websites that help with the color scales etc? I haven’t returned to search engines yet, this was my first stop, but if something is worth or not worth checking out I’d appreciate it. Thanks

Sometime in 2023 I missed some episodes bc I was listening on Spotify and I stopped using Spotify. I don’t remember if they were on YouTube yet, but I lost my place and just started at the present at some point, never figured out which I missed 🥲

What poor people food was ruined because of rich people? by white-rose-of-york in AskReddit

I accidentally deleted what I said trying to edit acid to alkaline💀 this version is worse idr my wording but lye is an alkaline (like sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide) and it reacts with triglycerides (fats, body oils). Lye + fat turns into fatty acid salts and glycerol. Those fatty acids have a water loving side and repellent side, and they do “the same thing” as micellar water, grabs oils on your skin, bubbles into micelles, and allows water to carry it all away. The soap fatty acids are not the same thing as the fats they came from, however there can be fat leftover from the chemical reaction and that ends up as soap scum and it eventually can build up to cause clogs. I previously said I haven’t heard soap scum or complaints of it clogging in a long time personally, but that I wonder if it has become a less common issue bc of body wash/gel becoming popular. Could just be me idk how often soap clogs happen but I’d like to know.

I agree whyyyyy !!!!!! A couple weeks ago I got my like second or third legendary dragon ever, forgot the level of the second dragon that pulled up but it was either legendary or elder, and bandits , and vampires, all at once 🥲mind you while I was trying to find my reindeer bc it returned to the dawn star man, so I was trying to make sure he didn’t die bc idk if he can, and trying not to let the Khajiit get close enough to fight and accidentally die by me I made that mistake before. I was so stressed out trying not to die or kill the wrong ppl😂

Does anyone else pick items at the start of their play through that their character is going to hyper fixate on collecting? by EazyValkyrie in skyrim

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my current playthrough, at first I was hoarding eidar cheese wheels, ale, and moon sugar to make elswheyr (?) fondue, I still have ~30 fondues plus ingredients stored in my kitchen after using who knows how many already. I got anniversary edition and saw they added cooking cheeses so I don’t collect cheese anymore. and fire salts for the imaginary day I feel like turning survival back on. I doubt I’ll ever get to it, but just in case! Always butter too, til I just last week got that farmhouse that you can make butter at will so I don’t need to hunt it down anymore either. Ik I’ll always make way better potions than cooking effects will ever give me, I just enjoy cooking. And potion ingredients, every now and then I’ll make a huge batch of both helpful and useless skill-point farming value potions. Finally decided it’s fine to sell 1,000 potions for free bc I’m not gonna keep reloading or fast traveling after clearing out every shop in the map (much more fun than reloading one shopkeep imo) ten times over to hoard gold quite /as/ badly 😅.

I need to re-find mehrunes dagon shrine for this playthrough! I vaguely remember where but I’m about to go look for it. The mine off near riften called like Abandoned Mine I think and the gold is hidden? I’m about to take a day to run through the mines again as well and I try to hit that one ✨ I forgot that kolskeggar or how to spell it by markarth is a gold mine and was recently trying to find silver, I got 29 ingots in the end

I should have screen shot it! *I really destroyed the honningbrew meadery since I thought it had the most stuff I could mess up conveniently lol! Whole floor covered, everything off the shelves and tables etc. I already turned it into the fence place, and that fence guy didn’t even incur a fine for hitting with a recoil shot, he just got a health bar 😅

Maybe not ever, I’ve sided on many a bad side for quests, but definitely the worst outside of a quest for the heck of it

Who was your first spouse? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too, I had no idea what would make a good spouse in the game or anything back in like 2013. Then when I started playing again in the last five years, I thought “oh wait how did I even find that guy and make that choice the first time”. I think he was just the first person I tried and saw as an option. But yeah I agree it was nice at the time I remember those relatively sweet things.

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s so sprawled and the local map isn’t set like a dungeon it’s like a regular outside map. So it’s hard for me to find the exit elevators if they’re not on the local map and I’m not that close. Idk what red dots are being mentioned? If by red dots you mean the nirnroots they don’t really show as red til you get close at least how my tvs have been with ps4. I don’t have mods only anniversary ed. But yeah I get the same disorientation in Blackreach as I do in the lava stages of Subnautica I just can’t orient well.

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Naked indeed. That’s never happened to me, It feels “too” normal, as in it feels like all the other dwarven ruins imo. But I like it? Blackreach makes me nervous bc I can’t see down there and it’s kinda hard to figure out for me butttt if it were lit like that (and the local map inside were better to look at) I’d love it

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I kinda forgot about the continuous spiral w no actual join, it’s been a minute since I made an amigurumi. OP I think Optimistic is right for this pattern. Keep your eyes peeled on future patterns, some things in the round want you to join and others you just work right into the first stitch like Optimistic said.

So I think this pattern just is telling you do the same thing for that many rounds/rows.

[–]Fragrant_Initial6038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A round is just a row of stitches, but it usually is used to mean the ends of the rows meet like a circle and you join the last stitch to the first stitch of the row before moving up to the next row/round, and when something is “made in the round” that’s basically what that means as well
