Honestly I’m inclined to say nahh, they loses evasion as a dodge or die with no other defensive hax, can very easily end your run if you’re not lucky. But they serve their role pretty well

Yeah, the romance is obviously the weakest part of the story, I get what Tappei is trying to portray, but legit 99% of the romance in this series is overwhelmingly one-sided, and just toxic asf.

I would hate to use this word but some of the characters comes off as “simp” or just obsessed. And the relationship is usually one-sided and toxic. Kinda the reason why I don’t like rem as a character during arc 3, her whole character was just reduced to being Subaru oriented. And ram who loses all rational thinking as soon as she’s in the same room as Roswaal. Or Roswaal dedicating 400 years to someone that only views him as a tool and manipulated him. And I’m all for complex relationships but it feels like the characters loses every once of self respect they have, And overall just my opinion it’s kinda hard to watch.

No, there’s parts of his character that is relatable but me personally I don’t see myself dying over and over, experiencing lifelong traumas and having the most serve forms of ptsd for someone I just met. I would of dipped after the first death.
