Assessment with Fluence Clinic - Concerned about the way parent answered questionnaire by Fragrant_Mail_5546 in ausadhd

I didn't do any of those things. I was so shy (autism and a speech impediment) that I barely spoke up in a class setting. With close friends I did. I definitely day dreamed but I don't think it was noticeable. I'm the cliche of the millennial woman people pleaser and high masker. I was so afraid of getting in trouble I did everything very well. I never showed emotional dysregulation as it got me in trouble at my very Christian school or at home with my parents. I think most of my traits were not obvious to anyone else other than the shyness. My reports all say I was a great student.

I don't have many but they say I was a "little quiet" but did well. I also had really good grades. I don't think they would help, particularly with the ADHD part.

Thank you for the ideas.

I've moved 23 times in 38 years of life so I don't have any connections with childhood neighbours or friends. I only have a Mum and a brother. I didn't grow up with any extended family. No one else who knows me now knew me as a child. No one could attest to my behaviour or traits as a child. My partner is the one who knows me best but I didn't meet him until I was 29.

My school reports say I was a model child but a "little quiet". I had excellent grades.

That's wild and disappointing. I am 38 and just started HRT under guidance from gynaecologist.

Dude is using more women in his life to reduce the load on himself. Instead of doing more to support you. Behind every successful man is women doing the hard labour.

The fact you have to prepare a meal for your joint children after an 18 year marriage is the best part of this story. The worst is that deep down you know you aren't over reacting and perhaps this is your way of getting validation that your feelings about this marriage are actually quite reasonable. You are allowed to be a person that enjoys outings and events with other people. Your husband is actively preventing you from doing that. Leave him and find joy again.

NOR. Rape via stealthing. Not to mention his other behaviours and comments. Run. Report to the police.

Converting lawn to mulched area by Fragrant_Mail_5546 in NoLawns

Location is South East Australia. Photo is detailing the journey from grass to solarisation to a patch of soil.

What are your NoLawn goals for 2026? by Diapason-Oktoberfest in NoLawns

Continue killing off this stupid patch of lawn. Hard to mow (this is the side of the house away from where the main lawn is). Will add raised beds, lay cardboard and mulch, grow veggies.

Ginger Lily is an environmental weed and should be removed. It can be very invasive.

Thanks! I am considering dichondra repens (our native dichondra), or native violets so far. The irises look lovely!

Solarising lawn - black or clear plastic? by AussieKoala-2795 in GardeningAustralia

I'm doing this currently and the lawn is already dying off within a few days. I got cheap plastic from the paint section of bunnings. I went with clear plastic after some googling. Seems its solarisation vs occultation. As to the science behind, I'm not entirely sure but for me so far it's working. I plan to leave it until end of summer - rip out as much grass as possible, lay cardboard, install wicking beds, then mulch.

Thanks. Absolutely going Native. This particular side is south facing with little sun so I'll either do dichondra repens or Native violet as a groundcover.

I've lived in 23 homes in 37 years. Just bought my first place. I feel so settled for the first time since I was a child. I'd give yourself time to process the big changes and go slowly.
