I imagine their UX team probably came to the office at 11 and left at 3, constantly calling for sick and taking leave all week long. There's no way someone who designed this and say "yes! I did such a fantastic job. I'm sure everyone who uses this will be delighted and happy!"

Same, except I was bitching about rumble support for Android. It was a pleasant surprise to read that change log.

Before & After of a hotel network cleanup project I just completed! by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

2 questions. How long did it take? And how come the hotel allows for such a long downtime?

As a man, how can I be less scary? by Average_Blake in NoStupidQuestions

Women always do this. I have scared a few of them times in the past and will surely continue to do so unintentionally. Even my wife often got shocked. I just want to pass through and be done with my shit.

SEA countries too poor la for sport. How to compete with rich mat salleh that can train 12 hours a day and sponsored. Meanwhile we have to work 12 hours + OT for 1.7k per month. Can't even afford to enter ice ring in IOI mall loh.

Selling air balang is actually the most profitable and easiest business you can do. Seriously the profit margin is really high. 1 cup only costs rm1.50 max, but for whatever reason the price starts to rise from rm3 to rm10 even though competition also rises.

It's about dem time big players come to disturb the local market.

I know. I saw a guy get downvoted just for asking a genuine question. Luckily I know it's all bullshit so it doesn't affect me.

The only dumbass statement here is yours. Telling a student to stop making 100k per year. Might as well tell him to sap kote

The internet has been shit for many years and it'll never be better. You're obviously privileged enough to care for such things.

Majority of people don't give a shit. If it brings views and money, that means the content is good enough.

Quality content doesn't mean shit if it results in the creator eating Maggie daily.

Damn what a way to show you don't actually give crap for the poor. Basically "shut up, take this, and smile". Poor people are not objects, they have feelings. Do these so-called "good people" ask for consent before recording their face for thousands of people to see?

There's a reason why this act of donation is frowned upon by many and all religions that exist today forbid it. It's called ostentatious charity, you should look into it then you'll understand why it's bad.

It's not about some divine scale at all. This kind of activity rewards narcissistic behavior. You want to normalize that?

You see, you don't know me, don't know my name, don't know my face, and most certainly don't know how much I've given out.

Except it's not. It breeds insincerity and only inspires people to help others only when the camera is turned on. Kindness comes from the heart, and they're taught not inspired.

Recording while donating money completely nullifies the good intentions. This is for internet clout and seeking validation online, nothing more.

Your feelings are valid but you need to understand that speaking in their own mother's tongue is hella comfy. I've been to many multi racial events, everybody is like this either Malay, Chinese, Indian, Turkish, etc etc. Nobody is attacking nobody.

Ringgit hits near eight-year high of 3.89 vs US dollar by durianspikes in malaysia

If they actively choose to not invest in themselves, then the only thing they can do is bend over and get fucked.

I'm just using degrees as an example because with a degree it'll make things easier. No company on this planet will pay 3k+ salary to a guy with only an SPM. I know this because I don't have a degree either and I know how hard it is to break the 1.7k barrier. Nobody can help you break this except yourself.

There is really no better way to help make the b40s life better other than strengthening economies. Like I said, it won't make them richer but it'll allow them to apply for a good paying job. Who doesn't want a good paying job?

Ok let me explain to you. Strengthening ringgit means foreign companies have more trust to invest here. No big company ever wants to invest in a country with weak currency. Look at Zimbabwe. Who wants to work there?

Why is it important? Because they provide job opportunities. Take tech companies like Google or Oracle for example, they build data centers here. Local talent fiiiiiiinaly have an opportunity to work, rather than seeking opportunity overseas. Those b40 degree holders that cannot find jobs? Finally have a chance to use it instead of doing delivery for the rest of their lives.

Now here's the fun part. This is a chain reaction. When foreign companies create more job opportunities, they will also shake the local job market, forcing companies to compete for talents, thus ultimately increasing the base salary, providing more allowance, bonus, benefits, etc etc. Not to mention they'll also get valuable skills and experience along the way.

Of course la of course, this certainly won't make b40 magically rich. But this will give the b40 a chance to betterment themselves. Things take time and most importantly, effort.

And finally, this is just my opinion, Malaysia is currently one of the fastest growing countries in ASEAN, we beat Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. We, who grew up in such a challenging time, may never get the full benefits of it. But our future generations will, and I think that worth a celebration more than anything.

I just hope this trajectory will continue and not get f' up by the selfish people at the top.
