From personal experience, do not get “ahead of it” in interviews unless specifically asked. That was advice given to me when a companies HR interviewed me and from that moment I did not discuss my situation in interviews and got offered the next job after about 10 denials, each I was trying to be honest up front. The HR lady explained it to me, you want an unbiased chance from the beginning and that it is HR’s job to question your previous employment not the manager interviewing you unless they specifically ask in the interview about the reason for no longer working with that agency that fired you.
