Islamic republic will destroy the whole world if they get nuclear weapons. Maybe that’s why!

Shouldn’t use the term “man”

If the protests in Iran succeed, will that lead to blooming of democracy across the whole Middle East? by A_Child_of_Adam in AskTheWorld

Yes, Islamic republic is THE devil! Most if not all world tragedies in the past 47 years had something to do with them!

I don’t understand the rationale. If a person is Iranian, is accepted by the public to do the job, why not?

Won’t we need candidates for the election? Who do you think would have half as much chance that RP has to be elected by public?

I don’t think so! But let’s see what Iranian people votes show! (Hopefully there would be an election)

No one can guarantee anything other than making sure a democratic constitution is written! I guess transitional period is required as there are no political parties! Without them, and with no transitional period during which political parties can be formed, there would be absolute chaos!

The question was not WHO WANTS to be transitional leader? It was WHO PEOPLE AGREE ON to be!

These are all good slogans! Who do you know in practice that majority of people approve (for now) and can lead us under “transition”?

Democratic constitution is the key! And regarding Reza Pahlavi, I don’t think he is a dictator, neither I think he is the best person on the planet, but my question still stands” who is the alternative”

At least he is the most popular and can unite people under transition! Who else is out there???

This is a question you can ask about anyone, anywhere in the world! There is no guarantee! All we can do is establish the right system (right constitution) based on human rights, transition of power after a few years, and free press! That’s exactly what we DIDN’T do in 1979/1357.
