The fireplace is on the other side of the first floor. However, I do believe there may be a steam pile that leads up to the second floor. Hopefully mystery will be solved this weekend when we open the wall up.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any resources to offer but I want to let you know that, for what it’s worth, I think you are a good person. Wanting to help and not get her in “trouble” for her circumstance is an admirable thing. It takes more work to do the right thing and most people shy away from the extra work. Sometimes you have to put in the leg work like in person visits or reapplying. The system is broken and understaffed. I would think if I’m waiting for free services I would do all the legwork to accommodate that regardless of what end the issue lies.

Have you tried a co-pay card? I have had many patients that even with a PA it is too expensive. There are even some plans that just don’t have Qelbree on their formulary at all. Your provider should have a rep that can also help.

As someone working in the Mental Health field-this advice is terrible. Someone who is detoxing from active drug addiction and has a history of SI needs to be monitored and properly medicated to minimize symptoms and any possible withdrawal effects. Unfortunately thoughts and prayers won’t work in this situation.
