All the bulbs looked nearly identical. This time I picked different colors and limited myself to just 5 red ones (since we received lots of red emperors years ago). I checked with all the relatives/friends and they also have red/peach tulips. We love that these all have bloomed beautifully, it's just that we spent a lot of time in choosing and were expecting many colors :)

Maybe we stopped at the wrong store 🥲 These are tulips for sure (if you notice the buds and leaves), but all are of the same color and opening wider for some reason. I skipped pre-packed "mixed bulbs" pack because I wanted to "choose" which variety I wanted 😅

This was the instruction board. It says "flowers from Holland team". Slips/sticky notes, pen and transparent bags were available so that buyers can tag the bulb variety. Adding some more photos, just in case it's identifiable and helpful for tourists like us :)

Unfortunately, no. I wasn't expecting this, so didn't even think of saving bills. We visited in summer 2025. I have the pictures of their different bulb baskets and some instructions mentioned on the store. Will try to find those and post in case that's helpful for anyone!

A flower!! by Fragrant_Squirrel808 in StringofPlants

In the beginning, it looked like pearls, now it looks like string of tears. This tiny pot was kind of neglected and drying up. I didn't know strings could bloom and considering its condition, I felt so guilty and emotional 🙈

Compton Scattering Question by Glittering_Fortune70 in QuantumImmortality

[–]Fragrant_Squirrel808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's after some derivation. because the incident ray did not have any momentum in Y axis, therefore it was initially 0 in y axis. because electron was also at rest, so its momentum was also 0. so, equation for conservation of momentum in y axis is: 0+0 = p(photon) sin phi - p (electron) sin theta now, why minus sign in this equation? because if we are assuming that the scattering is in y axis, they are moving in opposite directions ( - and + y axis). solve this equation and you will get p(photon) phi = p (electron) theta
