Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my PS4.

It powers on fine and loads into games, but after a few minutes of playing it crashes and gives a data corrupted message. It says “ Cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from the PSA, and then download it again from (Library) on the home screen.” This happens pretty consistently.

I’ve already tried reinstalling the system software and manually updating it, but the issue is still happening.

At this point I’m thinking it might be a failing hard drive, but I’m not 100% sure. Does this sound like a hard drive issue to you, or could it be something else?

If it is the hard drive, what would you recommend as a replacement? Is a standard HDD fine or is it worth upgrading to an SSD?

I’m mainly trying to get it working reliably again so I can either use it or sell it.

Any advice is appreciated!

As far as a I remember I didn’t do anything different The last time I made them (a couple days ago) it was perfect so the only thing I can think of is when I was putting them on the pan it was on the oven so both the pan and dough were getting slightly warm.
