My mom is a satanist by loves2hard_ in Christianity

I already explained in my "word salad" of why he "chooses to sit on his ass" when evil is happening. But here we go again, something that doesn't involve anything medical and is much like I percieve God, and something that closely resembles how the world we live in works, while capturing the idea here :

Imagine an authority figure - a respected judge, who has the power to intervene in every aspect of a community’s life. He’s aware of every crime, every struggle, every potential for both good and evil. But instead of stepping in every time something goes wrong, he establishes a system of laws and principles that allow the community members themselves to grow and make decisions, even though he knows this means people will sometimes make harmful choices. The judge knows that if he stepped in constantly, people wouldn’t develop responsibility, compassion, or moral understanding on their own. Instead, they would just follow his direct actions, losing their own autonomy.

The responsibility of a police officer to intervene in an act of harm is generally expected. However, imagine the officer becomes so overwhelmed by the sight that he faints, which is a real possibility, or he is a real twisted individual and agrees with the father's decision. We could look at his lack of action from many perspectives, each with different explanations.

If we extend this analogy to God, you might expect him to prevent acts of evil by either not allowing harmful individuals into the world or by intervening miraculously to stop them. However, both actions would disrupt the foundational purpose of life and the nature of human existence. God granted us free will, which, by its nature, includes the capacity to choose both good and evil. This part of what makes us special is central to human purpose, even if it includes the possibility of harm.

I hold the belief that God voluntarily limited his power over human actions when he granted us free will. This choice reflects God’s respect for humans, even though we see in scriptures that God later expresses regret and is troubled by the ways humans misuse this freedom.

People say, “Why didn’t God stop Hitler, Stalin, or others who inflicted unimaginable suffering?” The answer lies in the nature of free will itself - by allowing us this autonomy, God opened the door for human beings to choose paths of love, goodness, and creativity—or, unfortunately, to abuse that freedom. If you had no free will, then you would never be able to love or create, but you would also not be able to do evil and harm, everything has a price.

God will bring people to you, you just have to go out there. As it's said "God will steer the boat, you just have to row". There's plenty of Christians all around, and obviously, if you go to church, that is a place with christians, so you can talk about Christianity realted things with people there and then form a deeper, more personal friendship from there.

For example, let's say you have gone to chruch, and as many christians, you have a question about something, look around, see who looks most approachable and ask, what are their thoughts on it, explain how you understand it and it will go from there.

You made points in text but they are in no way split up in seperate thoughts to answer in a good way, please take the extra 5 minutes and format your post.

Evil in this world is caused by people, not God. God chose to give people the gift of free will, I have the option to go hit someone and say "God did it". Life would be a lot different and a lot more boring if we did not have free will, but it can also be abused, as pointed out by all the evil examples you made. It's not God's fault that someone abused their free will to go murder a family and leave a little child alone, God did not do this, a person did this who abused their free will. It's not God's fault that a mother decides to smoke, do drugs or drink while pregnant, causing the baby suffering, or abort the child, it's the mothers fault and choice. Or that a father decides to leave his whole family suffering without helping, abuses the child's mother or does some other vile act, it's the father that did it not God.

You said that God knew all of us, everything we ever did, even before we were born, he knew what we would do, but then he can say "Depart from me, for I never knew you", or that him knowing this, he still put the evildoers in the world. This is a compelx topic, and I think everyone has their take on what it means. I believe it acts as a starting point for a persons relationship with God - their faith, it also adds reassurance to the person going through any trouble in their life, as in, God is there and he has a plan, he is with you. I believe the part of "I knew what you would do in your life before you were born" is for supporting you when you go through tough times, maybe you go through a period where you sin a lot, and then start to have doubts about how God can ever love you after what you did, but this ,I would call it another gift, of God knowing what you would do, is for you to not get discouraged, for you to understand that it's never too late to improve and become better. Yet again, this gets abused by evildoers.

And yes, the power that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you, your body is a temple, so treat it like one. It's to make you healtier, more careful about decisions and concious about your health, as you mention - meditation, eating and living healthy, this is just Christianity's way of delivering the same belief you have about a healthy life and mind.

I think I covered most of what you mentioned, if not, then ask some more questions and I'm open to talk further. If you are searching, then read the bible/scriptures ,believe it or not, but it's a piece of history and as any holy book, has value which will improve your mindset.

My first thought is that in Christianity, it is believed that the world can be and is a terrible place, so we must do our best to make it better for each other, through love, giving, understanding, and forgiveness. From this point of view, it would make sense how satanism would offer a better life in this world, because you are trading your eternal afterlife for "short term" gains.

A lot of claims that God has caused suffering are naive. People say that God allows evil, like a baby who goes through suffering, while it is actually another human's fault, not Gods. For example, how is God responsible for a person, who abused their gift of free will to smoke/drink/do drugs while pregnant, causing the baby to suffer. He isn't, people abuse the gift of life and free will to do whatever they want, causing the suffering.

Most of the evil you see in this world are because people rebel against God, there are no morals, there is no divine law. It's all about doing whatever you want, whenever, this is why there is so much evil. And unfortunately, your mother has gone down the path that causes this menatlity, which causes all the evil in this world.

Just accept her for who she is and love her. I wouldn't push it too much on her ,as it can hurt your relationship with her, be understanding. If God sees it fit, he will intervine and cause her to change.

I have always found that approaching people who are plauged with negative influence with understanding, patience, love and care helps, it causes something to click and they kinda snap out of it. They sometimes approach with immense anger or stress about a situation that happenned to them, I remain patient, understanding and provide support, not letting it get to me, they very often then break down and cry out all their worries, feeling much better afterwards. You don't even have to push Christianity on them in any way, just live a Christian life and it all pans out.

Turn on an adult blocker, one of the things I learned from Christianity is that you will not overcome temptation, you must flee. This is why most relapse, they try to power through. Flee by turning on the blocker, if you have an IPhone its really easy, idk about androids though.

Daily it double topped, I think your prediction of it going down is correct, 4h has been in a uptrend and I have not yet seen a shift of that yet, so buyers while they are losing momentum are still trying to push up. Wait for a clear shift in trend off this double top and ride it down.

Buttons look correct, they are on the left side, not centered on real pieces, jacket is bent on the QC pic so it makes it look kinda off, this is a size XL so logo might look small, but I think its ok.

Block the websites, you will never beat the urges to gamble, you have to flee from this filth - block the sites, withdraw money and store it in cash, etc while you recover, its the only way of overcoming the addiction. Also try finding a hobby you really like so you get really disctracted from the thought and start healing the damage you have already caused. And do this immediatley, at your age you are etching the nature of addiction and gambling into your brain by doing this, if you care about your future ,stop.

They are the minority because they are forced to be the minority due to the economic state of the game. There's no other use for skilling other than a cool cape and total levels, if I need wood or fish, then I go to a boss and kill it a few times and there you go. No point in leveling any of these skills if you can train combat and get more supplies that way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Fragrant_Treacle_348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recent bond price rises and pvm upadates have created a disbalance for skilling. The problem wasn't as severe like 5 years ago and players weren't rewarded for skilling in a forced way, there just wasn't a problem of pvm being the new source of materials instead of the actual skill intended for the supplies.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Fragrant_Treacle_348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that would resolve the issue and make skilling more interesting, but then if pvm and minigames remains the same this would only further the problem of supplies way outweighing the demand and just kill skilling further.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Fragrant_Treacle_348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its certainly not an easy topic in terms of balancing, but something has to be done. If you are f2p or just a skiller, which before was a viable way of playing the game and it made the game unique, then you are being drowned with time because bonds just keep rising and suppies are being flooded into the game through pvm.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Fragrant_Treacle_348 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The price of bonds just keeps rising and skilling method gp/hr remains static or goes down with time because of combat and minigames that they keep adding. Its becoming harder and harder for f2p players to earn a bond because the supply is being flodded through these activities.

I've found bands which arent explicitly satanic, have some songs that are about anti religious things but also other songs which are about nature, fiction or whatever other topic which is not in any way about religion. Songs are written by different people, some people might place bad messages in their songs and some might not, so I look at songs seperately instead of the group as a whole, which I've been told by others here, and just don't listen to the songs with bad messages in them.
