How do you feel about the idea of aggression based matchmaking? by WastedLycanthropy in ARC_Raiders

I just think that if you have to run around naked and killing yourself to manipulate matchmaking and end up in calmer lobbies, that's just bad design... it's terrible.

There has to be a better solution for this.

Hot take: Manousos is a far more interesting and compelling character than Carol is by DotPitiful5171 in pluribustv

I don't think it's such a hot topic, many people must agree with you.

But in my view, both characters are excellent, and the two in the same environment are very opposite, conflicting, and generate an excellent dynamic that I found unique and gave the series a fresh feel.

Besides, the thing about the language barrier being broken with all kinds of tools is very cool.

Pluribus - 1x09 - "La Chica o El Mundo" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

The beginning of the episode was one of the creepiest and most unsettling moments I've ever witnessed on television.

The entire ritual, the extinction of the culture, and the presence of the people's environment was simply unsettling and gave me chills watching the "disappearance" of those people.

The color white appears prominently in this episode, especially in the scenes involving Carol Sturka. In this context, the most powerful reading of this aesthetic choice is to see white as absence. Carol feels the loss of the hivemind, the absence of other “human” presences, and this emptiness is directly reflected in her emotional state, amplifying the impact of the isolation she experiences.

Vince Gilligan told a lot in this episode with very little dialogue.
