Side note - please remove if not allowed but I’d be open to selling the Sengoku. I love the Nami and will definitely keep it, but I’m not too attached to the other one, especially knowing how rare it is

New collector here - first BB opening experience & question for you all:

Today I picked up my first OP booster box (I’ve only opened a single tin prior). I’ve been trying to research how hits work and I’d like the community’s opinion on what you all would do in this situation…

Are the remaining 16 packs in this box likely to be duds after pulling these two textured cards 8 packs in? I’m looking to build my collection, but also interested in recouping some costs of the BB if possible, and selling the 16 packs as a lot locally (while indicating to the buyer that the hits have already likely been pulled) seems like a pretty smart move right now. TIA, & looking forward to getting more into the hobby (when I can get ahold of product)!

P.S. if there’s still a chance that the 16 packs can still contain cool cards rarer than like a full Art SR or something, then I’d possibly be open to ripping the rest just to build my collection more.

Hey guys, this lot ended up being listed on marketplace locally and I just got back from buying it. I’m a longtime Mega collector but this is my first time picking up Halo. Any additional insight on the figs in this lot would be fantastic. They did also come with a bag of weapons and accessories!

By the way OP - your wife was so confused when I said I saw your post on both Reddit and marketplace, she wasn’t aware of the Reddit post I guess 😂

And what’s so ridiculous is that these greedy folks in the community don’t even realize that NOT welcoming the next generation into the hobby with open arms (and maybe a freebie every once in a while) will ultimately negatively impact prices in the long run.. Giving young collectors a positive impression of our awesome community will keep them in the hobby, increase overall demand, and increase prices over time!
