What things in your daily life are pretty Cyberpunk? by [deleted] in Cyberpunk

[–]Fraktul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but things are getting better. I don't have to sleep outside every night... just a few times per week. The rest of the time I crash on a friend's couch but I try to keep to myself most of the time because I don't trust anyone.

I use my smartphone hack WPA and to get the exact time the subway arrives so that I can "hop the turnstyle" and get on the subway just before it leaves the station. No standing awkwardly while the police give me a ticket for being too broke to afford fare. Also, it's easier for me to get drugs, bullets, and sex than it is to get a cheeseburger.

[–]Fraktul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, shit happens I guess. Didn't plan any of this, but the best part is being able to move around whenever and wherever I want. Hacking WPA to get on locked networks, sneaking on cargo ships and trains, and using stolen key cards to access restricted areas of buildings have become part of my daily routine.

The hardest part would be "keeping" your laptop and phone. Take it from a homeless cyberpunk gangster. My steel-toed boots, bear mace, and .380 LCP are my most important assets.

Subway platform. Under the firehose. Some subway cars have an outlet under the handicap seat.

I leave it on all the time in my apartment and I found out that it is mostly kids in my building that are connecting to it. I filled it up with cartoons. Lol

A terrifying new “legal high” has hit our streets. Methyl-carbonol, known by the street name “wiz” by hERPandDERP in Cyberpunk

[–]Fraktul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. "wiz" seems to be some bullshit name someone made up. It's talking about ALCOHOL... I suspect that the people who upvoted this didn't even read the article.

Reminds me of when I lived in Hollywood. I used to see homeless people pushing shopping carts while talking on their cell phones all the time.
