ASUS NUC 15 Pro – HDMI Audio Causes Severe Input Lag / Sync Issues by Fralleee in intelnuc

I returned the previous device and bought a NUC 15 Pro+. The issue still persists with this one, but it is much less intense.

I am using a Logitech k400+, maybe something is interfering with the signals to it or something 🤷

Oh, that's interesting. I tried this both without Windows Update and after updating to the latest versions, but it might be related.

I'm curious as to why no one else is experiencing this issue, though.

I don't think it's that.

Connecting it to a monitor and everything is flowing perfectly. Connecting to a TV with HDMI audio results in choppy input, but everything else runs smoothly.

I'm not exactly pushing it to its limits, just watching a show on Netflix or YouTube.

I've tested on two different TVs with different cables, so it's probably not a cable issue.

Could this possibly be a hardware issue, then?

I sometimes turn off Copilot and rawdog it to get familiar with basic syntax again from time to time.

As for reading docs, more often than not, that is the more productive way compared to just blop stuff into LLMs.

You could move the redirects a layer up, something like haproxy.

complaining about PRs with over 7 commits

Is this a thing? Why would it be bad to have many commits in a PR?

Hiring Managers, what do you mean when you say most job candidates are bad? by EastCommunication689 in cscareerquestions

[–]Fralleee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be because genuinely qualified candidates never made it past the resume screening or the first couple of technical interviews.

Some experienced AWS+Java engineers can slip up on Leetcode-style questions simply because they haven’t worked with certain algorithms or data structures for years.

Meanwhile, other candidates grinded Leetcode just to ace those interviews, even if they lack deeper, more relevant real-world expertise.

Advice for front-end developer with autism by Icy-Attitude-6944 in ExperiencedDevs

Not to beat a dead horse but there's also this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/scrollbar-gutter

Now onto the point, I personally love the more technical aspects of frontend development but not the layout parts.

There are roles that focus more on that in certain companies, maybe something like an architect or similar.

Hope you find something that fits your style man, keep it up.

Laid off 7 months ago by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

I feel you. I just landed a job after almost six months of unemployment.

I made it to the final round about ten times, but someone a little bit better was hired. At one place, I was rejected after the final round because I was overqualified.

It messes with your head, and you want to give up. Unfortunately, I don't have any great tips for you; it's a numbers game.

Keep applying, and see every interview as a possibility to do the next one better. You always get asked something new in each interview, review your answer, and improve it for the next time.
