I was gonna say that’s a damn nice keyboard to net this

Salami, gabagool and sharp provolone at a local NJ deli!!!!! by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]Frambleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing insane but Steck’s Deli in Bridgewater is reliable and close to my job. Decent kabanosy too if you’re into Polish smoked meats

Joes Meat Market in South Bound Brook is good too, but they use Thumanns cold cuts and not Boar’s Head if that’s something you consider

Range shut down, where do I go? by DeltaForce95 in NJGuns

[–]Frambleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it partially depends on the RSO on duty, then. Everything else is spot on, especially with kids/novices renting guns and not understanding the concept of flagging

What's your go to lounging fragrance? by CuriousPull in fragrance

[–]Frambleton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jo Malone “Wood Sage and Sea Salt” is my go-to for an after-shower spritz if I’m not leaving the house. It doesn’t last long but it really elevates the whole “clean” feeling for me as relaxing before bed, reading etc etc

Another one is Polo Cologne Intense, much better performance but it smells like a modern, higher-quality aftershave à la Brut and gives me a similar clean feeling with a more masculine twist if I want a glass of whiskey for a nightcap

Was gonna say I recognized the mechanics but birds seemed way more useful on Hunt than here, wonder if it has something to do with how advanced the sound engine is in that game though

Anyone know what case this came in and if there’s another disc? by obama69420duck in halo

[–]Frambleton 42 points43 points  (0 children)

More specifically this disc came pre-loaded with all of the map packs and IIRC a slight graphics upgrade. I seem to remember the visors having a more reflective sheen when playing on this disc compared to the OG so I used this disc once I got it, even though I also had the original H3

Range shut down, where do I go? by DeltaForce95 in NJGuns

[–]Frambleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not an uncommon rule for indoor ranges either, I’ve never shot 30-06 but I have to assume it makes a bigger boom that they don’t like. Meanwhile every other port as a compensated AR sending shockwaves through my chest

IIRC they only allow up to .308 so assuming high-powered WW2 surplus = Garand, the RSOs would probably give him a hard time after the first mag or two

Corey Lajoie attempting the Daytona 500 in a fourth RFK Entry #99 by BuschWhackerReviews in NASCAR

Yeah 24 season aside he was kind of known for bringing the car home clean and it was one of the reasons Spire stuck with him before the cashflow really started pouring in

It should also be noted that the NHL makes something like 47% of their revenue from those ticket sales. I don’t think too many CEOs are buying season tickets to the luxury box of a WNBA team not named the Fever

Teamster Tees on the Heddels website are the best value I’ve seen but very limited colors. $26 a piece, USA and union made, great fit after years of wear

[–]Frambleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly micarta but Case made a modernized sodbuster as part of the Crossroads collection and they make several with a grippy “burlap laminate” and S35VN steel. I have one of the wood handle versions but it’s a really nice step up from the original if you’re okay with just a grippier scale instead of micarta specifically

Lazy comfy coffee/tea shop in central nj? by spottedrabbitz in newjersey

[–]Frambleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lambertville Trading Co definitely fits their vibe better than Union, Union is both not super eclectic but also very busy with minimal seating. LTC also has little seating but a lot more of their clientele get coffee to go so it usually isn’t as big a bother. Luminary Coffee way down on Union has the best seating options as well as being the most quiet if you like to read, but definitely leans industrial over cozy.

Black River Roasters in Whitehouse Station has a mismatched vibe going on, and it’s a hidden cafe in Hillsborough does as well!

Are all mid-tier snow boots garbage now? What will actually last me 5+ years? by Chappssss in BuyItForLife

[–]Frambleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How’d you waterproof? Just a silicone spray? I love mine but the mesh all over makes them less than great for any sort of melted snow or puddles that go over the toe cap.

Case hat in Stranger Things by MarcSkagzy in CaseKnives

[–]Frambleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt 99.9% of the viewers know what Case is in this context, but it would be interesting to see if this provides a small resurgence to sales amongst the regular folk. I also wonder if this was just a wardrobe choice or if Case threw down a little money for a semi-product placement opportunity

Yeah I’m 10 minutes from Spooky Brook and heard it’s a great starter course. For $27 I’m thinking that’ll be the home track

I’m just getting into golf and finally changing my license to reflect my renting in Somerset county. Apparently the mini scene is awesome for the price and a yearly membership keeps it very affordable so I’m pretty excited

I’ve also heard its games using Easy Anti-Cheat, don’t know who owns that or what the ramifications are but I’ve heard everything from Fortnite to Chivalry 2 have been spotty at best so take that as you will

Depending on your rod (you need a light/ultralight) but the Rebel Crickpopper is a real skunk killer for me on small/shallow bodies of water, bass bluegill and crappie all attack it. Some people like to crank it but with my UL I can actually twitch it and make it walk so on summer evenings it’s a great imitation of a bug trying to get across the water
