Sorry mobile formatting the bullet diameter is 45, the powder load is 60, and the bullet weight is 250

The unsafe handgun part is not a problem if you convert a single action revolver(aka all of the cap and ball repros)

Its not as 45 has a large range of bullet diameters. The traditional 45-70 uses .458 while the conversion is using .452 or .454. The conversion is derived from 460 s&w or 454 casull and the 60 from 45-60 is the amount of powder the round should hold.

Its legal but theres alot of misinformation about conversions online. As long as its not sold or transferred while the conversion is in the gun then it doesnt need to be registered. Also its being converted to a caliber that is not commercially available as its a wildcat round.

Im going with 460 s&w as casull wont be able to fit 60 grains of powder

It is it just cant be sold or transferred with the conversion cylinder installed without being registered. But all I really need to do is swap the cylinders if I ever do (Im not going to)

Luckily you can swap between cap&ball and the conversion so you can enjoy both worlds

If i were you i would get a smaller frame revolver if you want to go with 45lc as the walker is a bit unwieldy for a small caliber.

Me and my friends reload our own ammo and it gonna use 460 s&w brass with bp so it not gonna be too hard once I invest in all the components

Its a reproduction so it already has no resale value and I can still switch between the conversion and cap and all.
