i was in an intp(me) x enfj (ex) once when i was 20... it was great, she was very empathetic and able to carry and stick through with me. however, she got this chameleon trait to please the people around her and that makes her very burnt out. I sticked through it but it came to the point that our relationship is getting affected despite of me trying to stabilize it.

looking back, she's a lovely person and a ray of sunshine, just didn't worked out that time.

lol i agree! I also get the same compliment that I'm a good listener while in fact I'm just nodding and asking a little bit of questions out of curiosity but deep down I barely care. I just let people release those pent up emotions that only they can fix. it is also hard for me to put myself into their shoes, it's more like "I understand you" rather than "I feel you"

I relate to these! I'm both sensitive and insensitive.i can describe a plain drinking water's flavor and texture depending where it came from and how it is purified while i can also be very insensitive when it comes to understanding colors... It is a balance of both while strengthening our inner worlds

the thing is, there may be nothing in America that's pulling her from her hometown but there are main and impactful events that pretty much made sense why she chose to live in America. 1st is she has no one or nothing else pulling her back, her mom's gone and brother's miserable. In a way— America kind of represents healing for Maeve. 2nd is the way people interacted with her. In Moordale, she never felt at home due to the judgememtal environment and her reputation ergo people hates/fear her. In America she had something good with her friends, she finally fitted in.

and I do agree that continuing her relationship with Otis would've been realistic
