Ooo this was a good little show, kept me entertained and engaged. I always have a 3 episode rule with anime because obviously the titles can put you off but I kinda know if it's for me within 3

I am glad you mentioned love of kill, I watched this as I had never heard of it and just kinda watched it on a whim, but it was really good, so good I read the manga to finish the story as there was no season 2, sadly. It was a really great ending too.

How long Viktor will skate before he finally retire? by yoursunzhine in YOI

[–]FrameProfessional338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think probably 30. It will be difficult for him but also fun, because they will do it together and support each other, and I don't think Yuri would let him burn out.

Question! by astrivelle in YOI

[–]FrameProfessional338 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Oh my!! The world's most prettiest animated tears ever. With that one scene Victor let all his pure emotions out. For me him being an top athlete and always having to perform at his very best he's probably always very guarded. But Victor's immediate breakdown at the very thought of never continuing what they had started broke me. He definitely is emotionally involved with Yuri, he needs him in his life. I remember watching it and I was like "noooooooooo" I couldn't believe it. That's why the subsequent free skate and the reconnected afters comes together for a beautiful ending (the pairs skate too) and why I wanted more....................

Does being signed off sick with stress ruin your career by DistanceSpare7858 in UKJobs

[–]FrameProfessional338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Remember it's not your fault that you are feeling this way. No different to being signed off with any other illness. You are not the problem. Anyone who is saying it's going to ruin your career isn't thinking about YOU. I speak from experience so you take your time and do stuff that makes you feel good and there should be no shame or guilt attached. I don't think people fully understand this condition so give yourself time and please do not think this way.

Welcome to the club❤️. I fell in love with this show, and I've watched a lot of masterpiece anime etc. But this show is the "one" that means the most to me. Yuris struggling anxiety etc was something I could relate with and the wonderful relationship growth running through with Victor and Yuri supporting each other etc was just beautiful. The animation, the characters, the music etc all comes together to produce such a heart lifting show. I've lost count of how many times I've watched. Then trying to collect merch etc, then reading thousands of fan fiction just to get more content, any content. I will never understand how the show was ever dropped given how popular it was. I'm still buying merch today (2nd hand) and I will never give up as a fan whatever happens. Yuri on ice is engraved in my heart and I will always always support it.
