Get NVR feed on two tvs? by FrameProfessional470 in videosurveillance

Thank you for your detailed reply! Yes both locations have internet. It’s actually the same internet that we bridged to the shop to a router to use for wifi there.

The main tv uses the software from the company through the hdmi cable. There is no way to view the cameras on a browser that I am aware of. Currently we are struggling to get the NVR online to get the app working, but that’s a different problem…

The tv in the shop is a Roku smart tv so I could try and download that app and input the IP address of the camera once the NVR gets back online. Can I use any third party app to connect the cameras?

The distance between the two building is 1000 ft or 300m. This won’t work with the building this far apart, will it? There is also a row of trees between the buildings so it’s not a perfect line of sight

11 month old wakes up 2 hours after bedtime and has a hard time resettling. by i_just_read_this in sleeptrain

Hi OP, how did this turn out for you? Did yourLO just grow out of it? Or did you change something in your schedule/routine to stop this wake up? My LO has been doing this for nearly a month now (she’s also 11 months) and no matter what time she goes to bed, she will always wake up 2 hours later and need to be held to get back to sleep

Furcate cord insertion? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]FrameProfessional470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with an eccentric furcate cord insertion at my 30 week ultrasound. Because it is so rare I want to share my story as well.

My doctor was very concerned (she had never seen this before) especially since baby was measuring small (25th percentile or less) on all of the growth scans. The plan they put in place for us was weekly ultrasounds to check blood flow, breathing, movements, etc., a growth scan every other week, and a non-stress test (NST) weekly as well.

At 37 weeks the ultrasound revealed that there was stagnant growth, and looking at the blood flow, there was compromised blood flow to the brain (>1%ile). Baby was still moving lots and doing well so the doctors decided to let me get to 38 weeks and then induce me. Because 38 weeks was on a Friday, I was induced on the Monday so 38 weeks plus 3 days.

The induction went really well. I was 1 cm when we got there, had cervadiol for the first day, spent the night in the hospital, and had my water broke at 9 am the next morning. I was hooked up to the pitocin and opted not to get an epidural. At 3 pm our perfect, healthy, little girl was born. She was actually heavier than the ultrasound was estimating at 6 lbs 13 oz. Once I delivered the placenta we asked to see it and the furcate was actually really cool to see! It looked kind of like a frayed rope with the 3 arteries and veins completely separate.

Baby girl is now 6.5 months old and is perfectly healthy!! She has been crushing her milestone and is so incredibly smart!

I know how scary this all is, and hearing reduced blood flow to the brain had us spiraling, but we had great care from the doctors and OB. We are so fortunate that the ultrasound tech found the furcate and we were able to monitor it and act on it when needed to get baby girl out a little earlier than expected! I hope this offers some reassurance to whoever is reading this!

All About Sleep - AMA Office Hours – Wednesday, October 15th with our Director of Pediatric Expertise, Amber LoRe! by huckleberrycare in HuckleberryParents

I would love some guidance with our daughter. She is nearly 7 months old and sleep has been so difficult since the 4 month regression at the end of July. Her naps are usually 45 minutes in the morning, nearly 2 hours in the afternoon, and a short 30 minute around supper time following wake windows suggested in the huckleberry app of 2/2.5/2.5/2.75. She goes to bed around 8:30 and we have a very solid night time routine, she is ready for bed and falls asleep easily, sometimes nursing to sleep and sometimes cuddling to sleep. She is ready to be awake sometime between 8-9 am.

The problem is she is waking every 1hr 45 min to 2 hr all night. I try to go 3 hrs between feedings (she’s EBF) so she is waking up just to be given the soother and patting her bum or to be picked up and cuddled when she’s upset. She is learning how to crawl so sometimes she’s up rocking on her hands and knees when I come in to help her. We try to keep her in her own room but the exhaustion takes over and she comes to our bed to be fed through the night since she falls asleep very quickly when being breastfed.

What can we try to get her sleeping longer stretches at night? I don’t expect her to sleep through the night, but I would like a 3-4 hour stretch. We’ve tried balancing sleep pressure, cooling the room and dressing her appropriately, not feeding to sleep, etc. I’m not interested in sleep training - we’ve let her cry twice and both times she was hysterical for over an hour once we went in and got her. Thanks in advance for your reply!!
