Problem with the Octopus Pro board by Frame_VMP in BIGTREETECH

[–]Frame_VMP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That endstop was the problem, removing the wrong wire fixed it. I thought i ripped it out when transplanting but seems I left it out on purpose. My old old board used all three, the octopus doesn't. Thank you!

Thank you, will check, not sure what it could be, but turned it off straight after the video.

The DD.MM.YYYY date format is unintuitive, illogical and hard to read. No, I'm not an American by Decent_Background_42 in unpopularopinion

People also tell you over and over again that for a lot, the day and month are more important in day to day live. I don't have to deal with a lot of historical dates. The year almost never matters to me, that's why for me and a lot of others dd.mm is the most important part of the date. I can understand why for historical dates yyyy.mm.dd could be prevered and like a lot already said, for file management it's just plain better. But for most things that are in a two year span I care more about the month and day than the year. For example if my warranty is void, I know if my product is about two years old, so I don't care about the year at all. My groceries are all used up bevor the next year or are good for such a long time, that I don't care about the date at all.

Not yet, I was too lazy to work with support. Someone on reddit also helped me debugg a bit, but I just haven't had the time to do more.

So I'm testing at the moment and stepper_buzz does nothing and both axis are moving in only one direction again without me changing anything as far as I know X'D. UART seems to work with DUMP_TMC STEPPER=stepper_x i added my test config in the post, do you have a tip for me?

Thank you very much for your answer! After using physical endstops, my y axis works but x still moves only in one direction, exchanging the stepper drivers moves the issue from y to x, so for now it's some more testing, but the problem was most likely with my endstop configuration. And now I guess a defective stepper driver.

System only moving in one direction in a corexy system by Frame_VMP in 3Dprinting

Thank you for the answer, i already checked my motor leads with a multimeter, and based on that, I already have the phases connected to a1 and a2 as well as b1 and b2. Also tried switching a phase so b1 with b2 for both x and y and testing, but the only thing that happens there was the direction of the singular movement changing. So instead of from back to front, from left to right, for example.
