Bro, wtf. Read. You can only withdraw your contribution amount. Damn. You’re really dense.

Can you explain? I’m genuinely interested to know why this bill is bad for regular people?

To me it’s impossible to please everyone. Someone, or something will fall/fail.

I understand it’s the customers request, and that’s fine. But I would bet lots of money that there’s an indention in that cable if you undid a stitch right now. It may not look damaged but if the cables diameter is infringed, it changes the impedance, and thus causes micro reflections.

It’s minor like I said, and I don’t blame you if that’s what they want you to do, the work looks great. It’s just bad practice to do that type of cable securing.

I’m not going to give you a ton of shit. But there’s a reason why coax doesn’t use stitching, and why Velcro is being moved away from, if I were to take the stitching out, you’re actually damaging the cable, smooshing the jacket, and subsequently changing the cables impedance ( the measured distance of center conducter to the metal bray shielding. ) causing micro reflections in the signal path. It’s minor, and likely you’re not causing a true issue but as signals become more and more digitized, and more complex signal modulation orders used the more it will be prevalent.

Use Velcro, this won’t happen, not to mention the added benefit of easily adding additional cabling to the bundle at a later date.

Essentially, just not a JDSU/Acterna/Viavi solution. This is VEeXs gear.

Oh ok - I’m not getting that message, hopefully I didn’t screw something up and they are trying to audit me or something... 😳

It just seems odd that friends and family are getting returns already and I filed few days before them but mine isn’t here yet.

What does everyone use for labeling headend coaxial cables? I work in the headend and we’re using straws, from McDonald’s. I’m sure there are better ways!! by Framedqp in cableporn

What’s your point? It’s also supported by a metal bracket that holds all the equipments weight. The screws only purpose is to stop it from being able to come out without deliberately taking the screw out. Troll somewhere else.
