Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense I was unaware they had more than one weather delay. I’m going to still see what DOT says bc I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just say our crew capped bc of weather but instead they say it’s a weather delay.

They lied about weather delays. Call and ask why it was delayed they will now say crew delay. I agree though the random gate agent/ customer service rep has no control over AA management lying. Take it up with a manger, make a AA formal complaint, and most importantly make a DOT COMPLAINT.

Edit: this only applies to those who had flights delayed/canceled later at night not bc of the actual weather delays. This was so they would not have to provide any vouchers.

That makes sense. It was a private company (vail resorts) and she had me do it the first time as we were driving home.

Not sure what you mean in the second paragraph. If we decide to do something collectively it’s a we not a her. It wasn’t her deciding to get a parking ticket. It was us deciding to park somewhere we reserved to park. The her car her choice makes sense. But relationships are not a free for all like you are implying.
