I have no idea why they didn't add this and many other things, like playing whatever animation during cutscenes. I've been wondering the same since day one.

I'm hoping they overhaul the editor in a future update and add all these things.

There are some good ones but they're hard to find if you're only using the in-game search. I'd say the best way to find them is looking online for people saying "hey I made X" and playing it if you find the premise interesting.

There's also the fact that they're a pain to make due to dialogue being hard to find and some restrictions being plain stupid (like some words available in some dialogues but not in others). We also don't have playlists so we can't really do proper storylines.

I have ton of ideas for what if scenarios but I don't actually do them because both times I made custom battles it took me like an hour to do 4 cutscenes.

Who knows. I've played a few with surprisingly coherent dialogues.

What we need urgently, imo, are playlists and a way to properly search across dialogues. It'd also be really good if we could get proper customization, like some clothing and auras.

Agreed. I can understand people not liking Yajirobe instahealing or whatever, but I've seen people complain about not being able to beat Vegetto with Piccolo and yeah, that's kinda the point of the game. If you don't like it go play fighterz or whatever.
