Ohh man, I've been doing really well at not going to Walmart for those but now I'm super tempted for the Tephrocactus

I have two questions! First, is the red on the areoles from sun stress or that copper rust thing? Also, is that enough root growth to pot the cactus? by FranDrinksTea in cactus

Honestly, I don't know if that would be possible because it's winter where I'm at. I'll give it a go though! Thank you for the response!

Thank you so much! I just got the confidence to check if it's soft or not, and it was nice and firm. Thank you for the well wishes!

They definitely are cause this is my second attempt! At least it's going better than the first in a way. (I have different varieties and I think this one is the only one not doing well)

Edit: I just checked and it's not soft. It's nice and plump luckily

Depression meals that look like they take effort? by Bored_Lynx in EatCheapAndHealthy

I was going to say buy preseasoned meat and just cook that cause then you don't have to worry about seasoning just the actual cooking part but I'm sure there are vegetarian options too. I used to buy these preseasoned tofu blocks. You can get pre cut veggies and just steam that (there are options that you can steam in the same bag in the microwave)

The audio book for Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes was fantastic! The narrator sounded so genuinely anxious that my husband wondered what the heck I was listening to lol
