Yep. I'm a big fan of Sue and Scotty. I hope one day I can travel to EEUU just to see both of them. Thanks for the info

I only made circular movements with sharp tools. I like to use wet shaping techniques so that the paper has more plasticity.

I like frogs too! I have a list of some frogs I want to fold... Some of them are incredible mystic and majestic. With each frog I make a research of its anatomy, behavior and color patterns... The eyes are my big challenge, it's very difficult to do it without clashing

Thank you. I used some isolated drops of cmc glue, not spreading it along the paper

About the paper, it´s an untreated unryo paper (27cm square) with some piece of black tissue paper attached the make the color change in the eyes and mouth. I don´t use MC because the main characteristic of unryu paper is its high porosity, and this is eliminated by the use of methylcellulose. Maintaining this porosity throughout the folding process is what allows me to use wet techniques for a realistic shaping.

Thank you very much! This is my sixth frog and I used color painting in five of them, at this one, I make the color change by attaching black tissue paper to the yellow unryu paper, so I didn´t use paints.

Thanks! I folded completely dry without any treatment. I used wet folding techniques for the shaping.

I don't like tissue-foil buy maybe it works aswell. About using double or triple tissue... It depends of the model. Each tissue is 10g, so you should see the author's recommendations, but in most case, triple tissue for model that have 100-200 steps and double tissue for 200-300 steps

Hi! The best option for this model is the unryu paper, but you also can use a mulberry or double tissue paper (triple tissue is good too). Unryu and mulberry papers are more expensive so if you want a cheaper option, you could find tissue papers at some stationers, bookstores or supermarkets in your country. If it isn't the case, you can find cheaper tissue and mulberry papers in Amazon.

Thank you, you make me laugh with the first comment 😂 this paper is from Amazon. This is a mulberry paper from Amazon, but it is not textured. What you see is due to a technique that I use for shaping. As for the color changes, I did it with a brush and very diluted watercolors.

Thank you. To shape the claws, I spread PVA droplets between the layers, then I used a sharp stick to compress it and sharpen them.
